North Shore Photographic Society

The North Shore Photographic Society is a group of enthusiastic, mainly amateur photographers. The Society aims to help members improve and enjoy their photography through workshops, competitions, exhibitions, critiques, discussion and encouragement. If this interests you, come along. Visitors are more than welcome - we even wine & dine you at the end! (Ok, just tea & biscuits really).

Try before you buy – you are welcome as a visitor but if you are still around after three meetings we will expect a subscription! If you are keen to submit your photos for assessment you must be financial.

We would like to invite you along to the first workshop evening for the New Year - 4th Feb 2015.

 Judy Hodge will give a short talk on March's set subject - Black & White

After this it will be an interactive evening in small groups with members who have the same camera as you.
You will have the opportunity to gain more knowledge of your camera.
The 4 groups will be Nikon, Canon, Fuji and other camera's.
 In each group there will be a expert covering the following topics:
            * Multiple Exposure in Camera
            * Using Live View
            * Long Exposure and Neutral Density Filters

You will also have the opportunity to ask questions about your camera and have an  open group discussion.
You may have a great tip/function you can share with your group.
We look forward to seeing you on the 4th Feb for a fun evening where you will hopefully learn something new.

Don't forget to bring your camera and manual.
