COME JOIN US for the
Whanganui Camera Club’s 125th Anniversary Celebration
The first meeting of a camera club in Wanganui was in 1894 - 125 years ago.
We are inviting all current and past members and friends of the Whanganui Camera Club to join us for a series of events to celebrate our anniversary.
Saturday 12 October 2019
Annual Members Print Exhibition 10am to 4pm in the Whanganui Arts Centre on Taupo Quay.
After visiting our exhibition register for an afternoon at our clubrooms (2 Handley St, Whanganui) to hear from our two guest presenters:
"Unique perspectives of aerial photography" with Petra Leary (1pm)
“Primary Challenge” Workshop with Simon Woolf (2pm to 4.30pm)
Anniversary Dinner and Whanganui Salon Presentations
Come join us for a night to celebrate 125 years as a camera club in Whanganui and applaud the winners of the Whanganui Salon for the first time in 27 years

Morning Tea in Vonnie Cave’s garden Seafield Road, Westmere
Old timers who attended Whanganui Salons prior to 1992 will remember the Salon finished with a trip to Vonnie Cave’s property to admire the garden and have morning tea. Vonnie has generously agreed to open her property to guests again this year and you are invited.
